The WLVRN is Desert Tech’s third-generation semi-automatic bullpup rifle platform. Utilizing an all-new integrated receiver, the WLVRN is features completely upgraded internals while maintaining the familiar manual of arms of the MDRX. This updated receiver design allows the WLVRN to be the first bullpup platform that can be converted between large and short-frame calibers such as the .308 Winchester and 5.56x45mm NATO using the same receiver. The rifle also inherits the barrel mounting and clamping mechanism of the SRS & HTI family of precision rifles and features a mounting system that is machined integrally into the receiver. This all-new design significantly increases the stiffness of the WLVRN’s upper receiver and improves the accuracy of the WLVRN by up to 30%.
This model is chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and features an all-black finish with a 16-inch barrel. One 30-round magazine is included along with a WLVRN maintenance tool.
