The CMMG Banshee MK9 operates on a radial delayed blowback system, providing smooth and reliable cycling with reduced recoil. The 8″ barrel, with a 1:10 twist rate, is constructed from 4140CM steel and finished with Salt Bath Nitride (SBN) for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. The barrel is equipped with a CMMG ZEROED Linear Compensator and threaded with a 1/2×28 pattern, ensuring effective recoil management and compatibility with various muzzle devices.

The firearm’s upper receiver is machined from billet 6061 T6 aluminum, while the lower receiver is forged from 7075 T6 aluminum, both finished in Cerakote for superior protection and aesthetics.
