The CMMG Dissent MK4 operates on a Compact Action-Direct Impingement system, ensuring consistent and smooth performance. The 16.1″ barrel, constructed from 4140CM steel with a Salt Bath Nitride (SBN) finish, offers exceptional accuracy and durability. With a 1:7 twist rate, the barrel is optimized for the .22 ARC caliber, providing superior ballistic performance. The CMMG ZEROED Muzzle Brake effectively reduces recoil and muzzle rise, allowing for quicker and more controlled follow-up shots.

This rifle is equipped with a Dissent side charger that is reversible, offering flexibility in handling. The adjustable gas block allows for precise tuning of the gas system, ensuring optimal performance with various ammunition types. The DISSENT 7075 T6 aluminum upper and Mk4 forged 7075 T6 aluminum lower receivers contribute to a lightweight yet durable construction.
