The 1020 series of shotguns features CZ’s proven inertia-driven piston design that allows for greater reliability and ruggedness in even the most adverse conditions and allows the shotgun to cycle a wide variety of loads ranging from the lightest birdshot to the heaviest magnums. The G2 series comes with additional improvements and includes an upgraded inertia piston design, reversible safety, and oversized controls for better ergonomics especially when wearing gloves. The G2 is also compatible with magazine extension tubes.

This model is chambered in 20 gauge and features a 28-inch barrel with a Mossy Oak Bottomland camouflage pattern. Five CZ Active Extended Chokes are included (F, IM, M, IC, C) along with a premium lockable hard case.
