Bulldogs in current production feature a stainless steel frame four point cylinder lock-up full hammer block safety system and barrel which threads directly into its frame for added strength. Current Bulldogs may be available with rubber or wood grips tapered barrel or concealed hammer. Details A compact version of Charters classic .44 Bulldog Boomer is designed specifically for concealed carry. It features a DAO hammer full rubber combat grips and a matte stainless finish. Boomers 2″ tapered barrel is ported to reduce kick and it has no front sight to snag and hinder a quick draw.
